Following other successful events with SongDivision around the world, Medtronic wanted to energise their annual conference. The brief was to tie together key learnings from the day’s plenary and breakout sessions, then keep these themes front and centre all the way through to the evening’s Gala Dinner and Awards.



With the help of our incredible musicians who've played with the likes of George Michael, Florence & The Machine, Paul Young and Kim Wilde, 400 people collaborated and created an original song about their core values. The performance of the song at the Gala Awards later that evening received a standing ovation, then the SongDivision band filled the dance floor with hits from the last four decades! The

In addition to strengthening bonds within the team that result in increased productivity back in the workplace, music was used as a learning tool to help everyone digest and retain the meeting’s main ideas. The song was also recorded and used as the soundtrack to the conference highlights reel, meaning that the messages and positive emotions associated with the company will resonate for years to come.
