The Ray-Ban executive team turned to SongDivision to help tie together all the learnings from their 3-day global sales and marketing meeting for 120 people. The key conference focus was on educating the sales reps and marketing team about the revolutionary new materials being used in the latest Ray-Ban product line. They wanted everyone to be so across the benefits of these new materials that they could ‘sing them’ to their customers - they also wanted to end the conference on a high note and send everyone out pumped and ready to sell.

This was always going to be a success when at 8.30am the group were dancing to the SongDivision band in the W Hotel ballroom in Austin! As soon as they were told they’d be creating original songs as a team building activity and competing in the ‘Battle of the Ray-Bands’ later that night, they were up for the challenge.

Lead by our rock star SongDivision GM Angus Clark (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and a team of Austin’s finest musicians including Miles Zuniga (Fastball), David Sanger (Asleep at the Wheel) and musicians that have played with Kelly Clarkson and Willie Nelson, the group of 120 were divided into four teams. After an hour creating an original song each, the groups headed to the famous ‘Rattle Inn’, where they visited the pop-up SongDivision vintage clothing room and donned themselves in some creative costumes. The final performances were a riot, with the song ‘Revolution, Evolution’ winning!
