Why Is This Corporate Meeting So Fun?

Check out what MeetingsNet Magazine had to say about SongDivision in their June 2016 edition:

"Why Is This Corporate Meeting So Fun? The attendees are in the middle of a LipSync Battle, for one thing.

SongDivision ("communicate your message and entertain your audience through the power and magic of music') provides the emcee to guide the program, and you decide if you want everyone to participate or if you'll pre-select a handful of employees or executives.

Melissa Lawlor, event manager at Quantum Consulting in Sydney, Australia, gave the LipSync Battle a shot because of it's popularity (if you haven't see Jimmy Fallon do it on "The Tonight Show', here's the one where Emma Stone brings it) and ease of preparation. "The objective was to have our staff get up on stage and have fun, entertain, and let loose,"Lawlor says. "They achieved all of this and more. It was one of our most successful activities for evening entertainment to date. Everybody absolutely loved it and we would do it again!"

At BBC Worldwide, Australia & New Zealand, Katrina Norton-Knight took a chance with the LipSync Battle for the company's Christmas party, after years of sport-related team-building activities. "Music was a new avenue for us to explore, "says Norton-Knight, head of brand partnerships and channels advertising. "But it also meant that the LipSync band could double as our party band later in the night, which worked really well.

"Our objective was to have fun and provide some light entertainment for employees as a thank-you for the year that had been. The objective was definitely met by the LipSync team."
